Overview

CopyBlock helps Shopify merchants enable storefront content protection through a Shopify theme app embed. The app is designed to avoid collecting customer personal data.

Data We Store

CopyBlock stores Shopify OAuth session information needed to keep the app installed and authenticated for a merchant store. This can include the shop domain, access token, granted scopes, and Shopify user fields supplied during app authentication.

Customer Data

CopyBlock does not request customer, order, product, or checkout data access scopes. The storefront protection script runs in the merchant's theme and does not send customer activity data to CopyBlock servers.

Data Requests And Deletion

CopyBlock implements Shopify's mandatory privacy compliance webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction. Because the app does not store customer personal data, customer data request and redaction webhooks are acknowledged without exporting customer records. Shop redaction removes stored session data for the shop.
